The National Council of Churches (U.S. Protestant, with which major Canadian Protestant denominations are affiliated) claims more churches, more church membership, and more income, than at any time in history. At the same time in America there is more juvenile delinquency, crime, corruption, immorality and broken homes than at any time in history.
Somewhere there is something superficial and hypocritical about this whole situation. The teachings of Christ and Christian morality are not being applied to our private and national life. Paul warned: faith without works is dead.
