In Germany the health authorities of all the larger German cities are critical of fluoridation.
Dr. C. Beusch, Head of the Dental Division of the Board of Health, City of Frankfurt, Germany, states:
"As long as certain significant risks are not eliminated from this project, we in Frankfurt, like all other large cities of Western Germany, will not avail ourselves of this costly experiment... In Frankfurt we are not convinced. The results of the fluoridation experiments are not at all impressive" (Frankfurt Rundschau, August 27, 1957)
