The prayer to St. Michael

Saint Michael, the ArchangelSaint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears! Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us Pray. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pope Leo XIIIExactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the above prayer to St. Michael, with instructions it be said after all Low Masses everywhere.

When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices - two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation:

The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord: "I can destroy your Church."

The gentle voice of Our Lord: "You can? Then go ahead and do so."

Satan: "To do so, I need more time and more power."

Our Lord: "How much time? How much power?

Satan: "75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service."

Our Lord: "You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will."

In 1886, Pope Leo XIII decreed that this prayer to St. Michael be said at the end of "low" Mass (not "high", or sung Masses) throughout the universal Church, along with the Salve Regina (Hail, Holy Queen); and the practice of the congregation praying these prayers at the end of Mass continued until about 1970, with the introduction of the new rite of the Mass.

John Paul II and St. Michael

However, at the end of his Angelus message given in St. Peter’s Square, Sunday, April 24, 1994, Pope John Paul II urged Catholics to recite this prayer to Saint Michael once again:

"The prayer can fortify us for that spiritual battle about which the Letter to the Ephesians speaks [of]: "Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power."(Ephesians 6:10). And to this same battle that the Book of the Apocalypse refers [to], recalling in front of our eyes the image of St. Michael the Archangel (cf. Revelations 12:7). Surely, this scene was very present to Pope Leon XIII, when, at the end of the previous century, he introduced to the entire Church a special prayer to St. Michael: ‘St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil… ’

"Even if today this prayer is no longer recited at the end of the Eucharistic celebration, I invite all to not forget it, but to recite it in order to obtain help in the battle against the forces of darkness and the spirit of this world."

I was prompted to recall the report of Pope Leo XIII's vision after contemplating the 6/6//2022 issue of Benjamin Fulford's "Weekly Geo-Political News and Analysis" at BenjaminFulford.net . The headline reads: "Satan has returned to the original creation and received absolution".

Vatican II did away with it for a reason. Think about that. Suggesting to keep reciting it is weak, they removed it as Pope Leo XIII intended its use. It is a poor cover story to protect a heretic JPII.

The Latin Mass has been almost put on the side, yet there is a remnant of faithful Catholics who remain in it. Being a traditional Catholic is probably the most rigorous form of Christianity I have found and I'm a convert from the Born Again movement. Catholicism is RICH, start digging and you'll see that prayers abound to help Catholics fight off the enemy and the most powerful is PENANCE, (CONFESSION), the EUCHARIST and the sacraments. Our Lord is allowing those who would be taken up by the enemy and Our Lady of Fatima predicted this as well. As Catholics we must be diligent, hold fast, hold on to the teachings, no matter how difficult and move forward in our faith. Lord Michael, the Archangel, is associated with light and illumination; as both a catachemen, who has been attending Low Mass for years, and as one who embraces the history of science, it is of significant note that the first recorded human voice is that of a melody used for centuries in the Antiphon (and further popularized in the Commedia del Arte, through the character of Pierrot), and that Pope Leo XIII, born in 1810, is the oldest person ever captured on film, in 1896, footage that is available on YouTube. Archangel Michael, with us at every hour, for me in my most trying hours... thank you for this making this page visible.

In 1884, soon after this frightening vision, Pope Leo issued he encyclical letter Humanum Genus condemning Freemasonry. He condemned this secret society as evil and accused Freemasonry of "planning the destruction of Holy Church publicly and openly." He also accused Freemasonry of having "no more regard for God than if He did not exist."

But then ---- in 1887, Pope Leo XIII named Cardinal Mariano Rampolla as his Secretary of State who was a high ranking Freemason.

Bella Dodd testified under oath that she worked to get at least 1200 communists into seminaries while she worked for them. Not only the communists see the Catholic Faith as a threat, but also Freemasons.

"Since the decree "In Eminenti" of Pope Clement XII in 1738, Catholics have been forbidden to join the Masons, and until 1983, under pain of excommunication."

It is not allowed for a Catholic to be a Freemason, that is until Vatican II removed excommunication. The snakes merely reiterated that this was not allowed, yet they removed any punishment for doing so because they were Freemasons themselves.

The goal of Vatican II was to confuse and mislead the faithful. Speaking out of both sides of their mouths, they can pretend to uphold things while undermining doctrines that are not to be changed. This is how the devil deceives.

Original - Prayer to St. Michael
“O Glorious Prince of the heavenly host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle and in the terrible warfare that we are waging against the principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits. Come to the aid of man, whom Almighty God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of Satan.
“Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity.

“These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where the See of Holy Peter and the Chair of Truth has been set up as the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.

“Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly find mercy in the sight of the Lord; and vanquishing the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen.

    V. Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.
    R. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has conquered, the root of David.
    V. Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord.
    R. As we have hoped in Thee.
    V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
    R. And let my cry come unto Thee.

    Let us pray.

O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as supplicants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin Immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious St. Michael the Archangel, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. Amen.”

One of my favorite prayers! Very apropos, given the times we're in. Now the battles lines are clearly drawn. Our battle against Satan and his evil minions is an ongoing one, until Christ's return.

Catholics have been praying for Satan and his angels to be cast into hell since 1886 when Pope Leo Xiii composed it. Yet Satan is still active and wrecking havoc throughout the world. Does the St. Michael Prayer have any effect at all and will it ever have complete fulfillment?

Actually yes it does; something to take note of is the fact that, the heirarchy decreed it be stopped and the timing of that is also suspicious, as was already mentioned here, so it should be recognized that a great many things in the church went awry afterward. They stopped talking about sin, death and judgement - the 3 last thing's, and why would they want St. Michael and the prayer dedicated to him around causing trouble for them, who are preaching that nobody's in hell except the devil and his minions. And the fact that since traditional Latin mass groups always pray these prayers as prescribed by pope Leo Xlll these folks have always been met with resistance and have been a perpetual thorn in their side, and since the current pontificate decided to up his foul game, and preached things undeniably opposite to catholic teaching, not with the same subtle lies as before,
Many people have taken note to the smears against traditional Catholics and realized their faith has been hijacked. I'm not saying that is all the work of this devotion, but its part cannot be denied, as St. Michael was the Angel to stand in defense and say "Who is like unto God" and cast the bad angels into hell. He is significant!

Prophecy has to be fulfilled. The more we pray, fast and make reparations the easier it will be on us. We have to do our part but sadly many faithful do not. The Catholic faith has been deliberately watered down, and people seem to be too lazy to learn, so the importance of offerings is not understood.

I also forgot to mention the fact that they want the traditional Latin mass abolished, a fact they're not even trying to hide anymore. Because it's the truth that stands in their way. Or to put it rightly, the truth that stands in the devil's way; a reality that he will never be rid of God and cannot destroy His church.

...and more that, one would have to believe because St. Michael is the one who went against him and cast him into hell, that the devil has a special hatred of him.
