The policy known as Social Credit does indeed include reform of our present financial system; but Social Credit is much more than mere monetary reform.
In enumerating the subjects with which this journal would deal, in our very first issue we said: "Then, too, we shall deal fearlessly with national and international politics."
It is appropriate, therefore, as our so-called statesmen wine and dine with the Reds at San Francisco, commemorating the founding of the United Nations in 1945 and preparing for more 'big 4' meetings, that we should publish Mr. Gostick's challenging address on "Co-existence" and Communist strategy.
The American historian, William Henry Chamberlin, writing in Human Events recently, said:
"By appropriate coincidence the tenth anniversary of Yalta comes at a time when tremendous pressure is being put on the United States to repeat the Yalta formula of giving the Communists everything they want in the Pacific."
The U. S. Senate Republican Leader, Senator William Knowland of California, has warned:
"Unfortunately, the history of these conferences has been that it is always the free world that gives up territory and surrenders human beings to the control of the Communists. It is never the other way around, wherein the enslaved people gain their freedom."
Tehran, Yalta, Potsdam and Geneva demonstrate the naked truth of the Senator's warning. Recent history is replete with peoples betrayed and enslaved through secret 'summit' conferences. But where are those that were set free?
After all, no 'big 4' meeting is necessary if the Kremlin wishes to set free her captive peoples. So obviously the 'summit talks' are not for this purpose. Then what is their real purpose?
The over-all plot of those anti-Christian interests which spawned both financial capital- ism and Communism is centralization of power and world control, and the surrender of sovereignty by individual nations. All wars, crises and conferences seem to be manoeuvring us towards this goal. Could these 'summit talks' be to prepare the final step - 'world' government and the extinguishment of freedom and Christian civilization! It's time Canadian's woke up.
