Mrs. Christine Adler, a loyal Pilgrim of Saint Michael, passed away in Los Angeles, CA on January 21, 2013 after a long illness.
The house of Mrs. Adler was our main “Michael” center in the Los Angeles area for several years. She would always graciously receive the apostles of “Michael”, day or night, and give them meals and sleeping accommodation. And she did this with a big heart. It was a place we could always count on. She always said that the Pilgrims of Saint Michael were her family.
And not only did she receive the Pilgrims in her home, but she was an active member herself. Although she had difficulty in getting around, she always had leaflets with her to give to others. How many times she said to us that she wanted everyone to know about God. She could be in a store and start talking with a complete stranger on religion. And because she was so interesting to listen to, she could talk for a whole hour and the person would not even be annoyed. Doing this, she passed thousands of leaflets in her surroundings. She would always ask us for more leaflets as she loved to distribute them, knowing the good she could do with our literature.
Christine Adler had become known as a spiritual song composer. She loved to sing songs of praise to God. Some of her compositions have been played at our headquarters and at some of the national shrines in the United States.
Mrs. Adler was able to come to our headquarters in Quebec, Canada a few times to participate in our weeks of study and our congresses. She understood well our Work to evangelize the Faith and to correct the financial systems of the world. She became a Social Crediter and would always wear our white beret to show us that she was convinced of our Work.
Yes, Christine Adler was a beautiful soul and she was sincerely loved by all the Pilgrims of Saint Michael. She certainly edified everyone who came in contact with her. We will certainly miss her. She was a good practicing Catholic, always doing charity, always striving to help others. She can now become a part of the Church triumphant and assist us in the battle for souls from the heights of Heaven. And when our turn comes to pass over the veil, we will meet again as family in our Order of Saint Michael.
