Mrs. Cecile Belanger Larochelle, a Pilgrim of Saint Michael from Holyoke, Massachusetts passed away on February 2, 2019. She was wearing her Scapular of Mount Carmel when she passed on the first Saturday of the month and the feast of the Presentation. Mrs. Larochelle was a solid Social Crediter, her home was always open to the Pilgrims of St. Michael. For many years her home was considered the St. Michael House in Massachusetts. She and her two sisters, Mrs. Germaine Girard and Mrs. Jeanne d’Arc Grondin all loved and supported the Pilgrims and were proud to wear their White Berets. Her daughter Lucie, son Gervais and grand-daughter Marie Anne all spent time as Full-time Pilgrims. She passed away in the presence of her loving family. Her funeral was held on February 5, 2019. She had the great blessing of having three priests: her pastor, a monsignor, as well as the sub-rector from St. John’s Seminary, celebrate her funeral Mass. Her grandson, John, a seminarian, and great grandson Robert served the Mass. She will be sorely missed.
