Moving Towards a Global, Digital, Cashless Society

CASHLESS INDIA; The Digital India program is a flagship program of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. "Faceless, Paperless, Cashless". (www.cashlessindia.gov.in)

Ten years ago, nearly half the population of India was without identification — not even a birth certificate. With no identity, you were unrecognized in the system; unable to open bank accounts, obtain loans, insurance, etc… You belonged to the "informal economy".

In 2009, the Government of India launched Aadhar, a biometric database based on a government issued 12-digit identification number (high tech social security card), authenticated by the fingerprints and retina scans of every citizen. As of 2016, the program has already issued I.D. numbers to 1.1 billion people (approximately 95% of India's population).

Aadhar claims this to be the largest and most successful information technology (I.T.) project in the world, and has created the foundation for a new digital financial system.

In November, 2017, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, surprised the nation by issuing a cash ban, discontinuing all 500- and 1,000-rupee notes — roughly 86% of all money in circulation.

This disrupted the entire economy, and caused widespread panic, precipitating the people into accepting the push towards a digital economy.

Could this then be the plan — were it possible to create a widespread panic globally, would the rest of the world have no choice but to accept a new global digital financial system, coupled with retina scanning and fingerprinting for everyone?

Could this be the "Mark" required to be identified in order to be able to buy, sell, or even open a bank account in the New World Order? Without a physical currency, one is left to the mercy of those who control the digital world. No choice, no cash, no freedom.
